Summer is off an running. Let’s be real… how are you doing?

On our end, we’ve done a few camps and used a daycare program sporadically, to get a little free time.

And to give Elsa’s mobility a boost, we’ve been pushing her hard on walking. Naturally, it takes a lot of time and energy. But we feel like we have to make the most of the free (non-school) time we have.

Sometimes summer is hard. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help but to compare it to what summer was like for me as a kid. Easy, relaxed, joyful… not exactly the words I’d used to describe my summers now.

The days can be long… very long. And the logistics of getting in and out of parks, museums, pools and such can be a pain.

But… the times that we’re able find a way through the seasonally unique challenges – and enter into summer’s simple joys – can create really beautiful memories that are worth sharing far and wide.

To celebrate this all-too-short, all-too-fast season, we’re compiling a photo slideshow of our WHS community enjoying summer. If it makes your crew smile, we want to see it!

So…

Scroll through the photos on your phone and email me one (just one please!) for inclusion in the summer slide show. My address is anitraschulte@gmail.com. Please send in your pic by July 10.

If you enter a pic, you’ll also be entered for a chance to win this swing… Elsa loves it! (I promise we’re working on adjusting that harness…)

Can’t wait to see what you share!!
