My sweet Caroline was a bumble bee this Halloween! She is now 3 years old, and it’s been a while since our last update, so here is a quick one!

She started school officially this past August. She is in the Pre-K3 program at our local school and goes from 7-10:30 M-F. She is still getting speech, PT, and OT, now thru the school system, and we pay for a private speech therapist as well. She is still going to daycare for the reminder of her day after school is out, and we absolutely LOVE this place! She learns so much there, and they have always gone above and beyond for her! Health wise, she has been doing fairly well. She comes down a cold very easily, but nothing serious that we haven’t been able to manage at home.

Developmentally she is progressing rather well. She is beginning to make more and more sounds and imitate words. Her vocabulary is steadily growing and she seems to be articulating more and more words everyday. She still utilizes her AAC device, but we mainly communicate verbally. She understands basically everything we say, and can follow multi-step directions. She is beginning to try to run, and can climb stairs and make steps without assistance.

We can’t wait to see everyone’s Halloween costumes this year!

Wonderful update — Sweet Caroline looks just sweet as can be. And so big and strong. Amazing that she is climbing and running! I am so pleased to hear that school has been positive. She seems like she has a loving personality that draws people to her. Thanks for posting about her progress!
