Hi Everyone
it has been a while since our last post mainly due to us moving house
Finally a few weeks after Teejays 2nd birthday he started to walk on his own.
He had been walking around the furniture for a few months but just decided to let go one day and away he went.
Teejay is now 2 years and 4 months old and has a full set of teeth after 18 months of teething issues.
He had some grommets fitted in his ears a few months ago and that has stopped him getting ear infections which have plagued him for the last couple of years.
We think it helped with his balance as well which helped with his walking.
Now there is no stopping him and he causes even more mischief than ever
He has also started feeding himself in the last couple of months and will eat almost anything now.
He is still not talking but has been saying baba, mama, dada so he is slowing getting there.
He is a very happy child and loves playing with other kids and loves music which now he can walk has developed into dancing with his big sister.
He loves playing with his big sister who is 4 and he finds it hilarious when she screams when he pulls her hair(trying to get him out of that).
He does not take any medication at the moment after coming off his reflux medication a few months ago.
He does get more than his fair share of colds though which we have to watch as he develops high temperatures which have led to him having seizures.
He has had 4 since he was a year old which have all been caused by high temps.
Hopefully he will grow out of that but we are seeing a specialist next week to discuss further.
All in all things are going pretty well for him
i will get some photos on shortly

Glad to hear he is doing well and does not require any meds….way to go!!
I am so glad that I’ve had the time lately to go back and read more posts. As we all know, caring for a WHS child is no small feat and is very emotionally trying and draining. It is therefore so wonderful to read stories about and see pictures of beautiful WHS children that are doing really well. Teejay is absolutely adorable and it sounds like he is doing beautifully. You must be so pleased, excited, and proud. Please continue to update us when you have a chance. Stories like these give the rest of us hope.
