Nathaniel had a set back. There was a “stomach virus” going around and I think he got a hint of it. He was really lethargic, and had severe loss of appetite, but no fever or vomiting….THANK GOD!! It started this past Monday and he followed up with his “new” pediatrician on Wednesday-because the doctor wasn’t in. Turns out he lost 8 ounces, and we all know that those ounces are worth more than gold. So now the doctor is highly recommending the G-tube so that in case he gets sick again, nutrients/feedings will be the last thing we have to worry about. He will be seeing another GI doctor this Tuesday and will be getting set up for the procedure 🙁 I am a little sad, but I know that he will benefit from the procedure AND I know that it may very well be temporary. It is “still” a procedure, but I think I have mentally prepared myself for this. The thing that scares me the most is the fact that we almost lost him last time. So, I’m going to do what ever I can to keep him healthy. Our little ones are so brave and strong. They deal with so many issues and bounce right back. I am so glad for that because they make us strong in the end. I’ll post another update when I have one.

Praying for wisdom for you and health for Nathaniel.
I hope he is feeling better. Good Luck! Our little Lucy got the stomach bug as well. 6 days of throwing up and she lost a pound and a half.
I will be praying for your little man and for you to have peace. I understand these trials are difficult to go through with our little ones. Peace to your hearts and health to your son. <3
