Talia is now 4yrs old and has come on leaps and bounds, she has started to toddle around although not for long periods and is still unaware of her surroundings and danger…. She eats really well but doesn’t feed herself….she loves music and sings all day long and picks tunes up really quickly…..she is growing into a happy , adventurous , little girl and brings sunshine into our life’s every day……
We still struggle to cope with seizure’s but don’t we all, but we deal with them when they rear their ugly heads,we have our routine down to a tee!
I have become great friends with another mum through face book and we chat everyday about our kids, and it’s thanx to this web site and our pages on Fb that I find the strength and corage to deal with WHS….and hope that I can show other parents that when we all support each other life doesn’t have to so bloody difficult…

Hi Samm, thanks for the update. I went back and read your previous post for the first time and it’s great to hear how far Talia has come since 2010. I know what you mean about the seizures – we all hope they won’t happen but when they do it’s almost like autopilot kicks in after a while.
Something you mentioned in your earlier post that interested me was that Talia didn’t seem to respond to pain in the same way as your other kids – I have noticed a similar thing with Mia. Have you seen this change as Talia has got older?
Thanks again,
Ross
I read your two posts and I’m glad to hear she’s doing well. I look forward to reading more about her.
