I am so exicted to share that Taylor is getting a DynaVox! We had a meeting today at the speech clinic. Taylor got to have a hands on session with the DyanVox and I can just see this bringing so much to Taylor’s life. It truely is amazing to see her learning and enjoying something new. I can’t wait to post some pics of Taylor using her new tool. They said it would be about 30 days so I will post one just as soon as we get it. Also, I wanted to give a quick update on Taylor. She has been doing great for the most part. We still have some teeth issues but we are getting through those issues and hopefully they won’t be an issue soon. She just recently had one of her eardrums repaired but we won’t know if the surgery worked until about 2 months from now. She has been without her hearing aids for 3 weeks. I can tell too. She has been very loud! I love her loudness but when we go out other people that don’t know Taylor or her condition just look at us funny and I know what they are saying. She has one more week without the hearing aids and then we can put them back in. She can almost jump with both feet off the ground. She is just too cute trying to jump over things. She can actually color now.. use to she could not hold the crayon and make marks that she could see on paper because she couldn’t put any pressure down with it. Now she marks on everything she can.
