Hayden and his brother Braylen were Spider Men this year. A friend and I took the kids to a Halloween party on Saturday. They had a big blow up slide for all the kids and Hayden loved bouncing on it and hearing all the laughter and screams of the kids at the party playing. We all went on a hayride that night. Hayden rocked his chair laughing and smiling throughout the entire 45 minute ride through the neighborhood and the “woods” surrounding the neighborhood. He had a ball. I think he actually enjoyed it more than any one else! I am so proud to be his mommy!

Wow! He’s really matured over the past year! He’s losing that ‘little boy’ look he had when I first “met” you guys. 🙂
I love to hear proud parent stories. And I’m glad to hear he had such a fun time at the Halloween party. I’m sure his enthusiasm was infectious.
I loved reading this little “bit” from your life with Hayden. I was re-reading some of the posts after i posted about our little Brett who would have been 6 Nov 26. I can just picture Brett bouncing like Hayden and loving it, and eyes big and wide at the “feeling” of bouncing! How awesome that you gave him this experience, cause i know it is not easy to go “out” and do things like this. I wish i lived closer and could come meet some of the families living with WHS. Each one of us was hand-picked by God to give “life” to these special kids. I miss our little JOY…but know how free and full he is now and that gives me peace. Keep sharing…we love to read!!!
