After weeks of bad news, we finally got some good.  Last week was an awesome week! My stepson, Peyton was able to meet Tyler for the first time and it was adorable.  Peyton is five years and old and wherever we go people remark at how big he is for his age.  He is in the 95th percentile for his age.  How funny is it that we now have little Tyler who is not even on the charts!  That has earned them the nicknames Big and Little.  Peyton was so good with Tyler and even helped change some diapers!! We also received the results from the chromosome test Brian and I took and they were normal with no translocations.  I have been pouring over the internet and support sites as I’m sure everyone does upon hearing the diagnosis.  Imagine my surprise when finding out that the one of the board members on the 4p support group lives in the same city as we do.  We got in contact with one other and even arranged a visit.  I remember the feeling of being so alone when finding out Tyler had WH.  It is amazing to me that not only have I found such an amazing support system online, but have a wonderful family that lives less than five minutes from our home.  Thanks to everyone for welcoming me into this “family” and I have attached a picture of my big and little 🙂
