Kaylee hit 3 months this past week, and she is doing exceptionally well. The Physical Therapist came today and told me that she was hitting all of the milestones that were expected of her at this age– she is holding up her head when on her stomach; tracking an object smoothly from side to side, as well as up and down; and her eye gaze and social smile erupted on Sunday– making her awake time more fun for the both of us. If someone had asked me after my original research on WHS if I thought my daughter would be hitting these milestones in this manner, I would have said most definitely not. However, it goes to show that you cannot believe all that you read online, and not only can you never assume anything about a child, but that you definitely should not expect the worst. If you do, you may find yourself happily surprised and discover the best!

Laurie- these are great achievements! She is most definitely developing well at her age. Kendall wasn’t doing a lot of this until way after 3 months. This is great news.
