So, we’re cruising the mall the other day and there happens to be the Easter Bunny hanging out taking pictures with the kids. There was a short line, so we decided to jump in and take a go at it. We’ve all been in those situations where we wonder if this is the right thing to do because the kid that usually ends up screaming and making a fit is our kid! Unlike the girl 3 spots ahead of us that looked like she was maybe 7 years old and was dressed like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, we were in our usual Saturday gear.

The line moved pretty fast and the anxiety set in: who is going to scream? Will it be Carsen, our 3 (almost 4) year old, Kendall or Cailen (our 1 year old)? Carsen was taking it in, Cailen had no idea what was going on and Kendall just wanted to scoot in the scene with all of the trees and bushes that divided the line from the bunny.

Well, we made it to the non-speaking bunny that was probably some teen aged kid that had nothing better to do that day. We loaded up the 2 girls on his/her/its lap and set Carsen next to him/her/it. Well, in the end it was all good and we got the picture we wanted. For our $27, we got 2 3×5’s and 2 5×7’s that we’ll have for the rest of our lives.

Love this picture! Although the Easter Bunny looks a little scary-why wasn’t the bunny smiling? I would be scared if I were a child! Your children did great!
